Meat Vending Machine: The Barbecue Party Saver
Saturday evening, a spontaneous barbecue, but the butcher's is closed. This is exactly where a meat vending machine earns its keep: it makes steaks, sausages and grilling cheese sellable outside opening hours, chilled throughout and HACCP-compliant. For many butchers, it's the biggest sales lever at the weekend.

The integrated screen shows product images, promotions or third-party advertising. That way you refinance the purchase costs faster.
Branding & design
Full wrap in your corporate design, customizable interface on the touchscreen. Your machine becomes a brand ambassador.

Butcher shops
A butcher places a meat vending machine right in front of the shop. Customers buy barbecue packs and steaks around the clock by card, especially in the evening and at the weekend. The cold chain is monitored throughout, and telemetry reports the stock level. The result: the machine often makes more sales at the weekend than the shop does during the week.
Farm shops
A farm shop runs a vyndo machine with its own sausage and meat from direct sales. The screen shows what's currently fresh. At the weekend and in the evening, when the farm shop is closed, sales keep running. The cooling holds a constant 2 to 4 degrees. The gross margin is 45 to 60 percent.
Farms
A country inn with its own slaughtering sets up a chilled meat vending machine in the car park for goulash, roulades and barbecue packs. Hikers and day-trippers buy even when the kitchen is closed. The health-timer software automatically blocks sales if the temperature gets too warm, so the goods stay safe.

Cold chain and HACCP protection
With meat, food safety authorities don't play around; the cold chain must hold throughout. Our machines cool to 2 to 4 degrees and monitor the temperature continuously. If it stays above the limit for too long, for example during a power outage, the health-timer software automatically blocks sales. The digital temperature logbook documents everything without gaps, so you look clean during an inspection.

Financing your meat and sausage vending machine
You have three options: buying (€5,000–10,000), renting from a one-day term or leasing from €99/month. With leasing, the machine ideally pays for itself from ongoing income. The rates are tax-deductible as operating expenses. With renting, maintenance is often included – ideal for getting started or test phases.
Frequently asked questions about meat vending machines
A daily check is mandatory (HACCP).
In spiral machines to a limited extent (mind the width), in locker machines yes.
Cashless is strongly on the rise here, since barbecue packs often cost 20-30€.
Not on your own ground. The food safety authority must be informed.
Customers pay with coins and notes as well as by debit card, credit card, Apple Pay and Google Pay. With a meat vending machine, card payment is especially relevant because barbecue packs often cost 20 to 30 euros and many customers don't carry enough cash for that. Cashless is clearly on the rise here. All machines meet the TSE requirement under KassenSichV and record every transaction tamper-proof. That way the weekend revenue runs cleanly without you tending the till yourself.
On your own ground you don't need a special permit; on public ground you need a special-use permit. The HACCP requirements are decisive: the cold chain must be held and documented throughout. For this, our machines keep a digital temperature logbook and automatically block sales if the temperature rises for too long. A daily visual check is mandatory. Inform the responsible food safety authority about the machine. That makes the operation legally clean, and you are documented and protected in case of an inspection.
Through the telemetry app you see stock levels, sales and, above all, the cooling temperature of each machine in real time. With sensitive meat products, temperature monitoring is decisive: if the cooling fails, you get an immediate alarm and sales are blocked before goods spoil. That protects you from loss and liability risk. You only drive out to refill when a compartment is really empty. We deliver updates over the air.
