Mini Vending Machine: Full Feature Set, Small Footprint

You have no room for a full-size vending machine, but you don't want to give up touchscreen, cashless payment and telemetry. That is exactly what the mini vending machine from vyndo is built for. On less than half a square meter it provides the same smart system as the big devices, as a compact freestanding machine, a tabletop unit or wall-mounted. So it fits into the small office, the waiting room or the hotel floor.

Mini vending machine – coworking tech

GDPR compliant · CE and ISO 9001 certified · Made to our own design specifications

Small in Footprint, Not in Technology

A small snack machine often fails at the same point: it saves space but loses the smart technology. With the mini vending machine from vyndo it is different. The compact model also gets cashless payment (NFC, Apple Pay, Google Pay), a touchscreen for the digital cart and telemetry that reports stock levels in real time. You choose between three designs: a slim freestanding machine from around 70 cm wide, a tabletop unit for the counter, and a wall-mounted version that needs no floor space at all. So you find a spot even where a normal machine will not fit.

Benefits of the Mini Vending Machine

Under 0.5 m² Footprint

The compact freestanding machine starts at around 70 cm wide. Tabletop and wall versions need no floor space at all.

Smart Despite Compact Size

Touchscreen, cashless payment and telemetry are standard even in the small model, not a stripped-down entry device.

Predictive Refill

The telemetry reports empty compartments in real time. You only drive out to refill when it is worth it, saving trips.

Three Designs

Freestanding machine, tabletop unit or wall mount. You choose the form that fits your space.

Custom Wrapping

Full wrap in your corporate design. Even the small device becomes a brand carrier in the lobby or at reception.

TSE-compliant

All devices with a payment function meet the TSE requirement under KassenSichV. Accounting stays clean, without counting a till each day.

Configuration: Compact and Flexible

A mini vending machine is worth it wherever the footfall is too low for a large device or the space is too tight. You stock it with what sells at the location: snacks and bars, chilled drinks, cosmetic sample sizes or small office supplies. The compartments can be configured with spirals or lockers, depending on the goods. Cashless payment, touchscreen and telemetry are included in every design. Optionally you add a smaller signage screen that plays product info or advertising in standby. Prices for compact models range from 2.000 to 5.000 euros net, depending on the design and cooling.

The Mini Vending Machine in Use

Small Offices & Coworking

A coworking space with 20 seats has no room for a large machine row. A slim mini machine in the kitchen supplies members with bars and cold drinks. The telemetry reports when a refill is needed, so no one has to check the stock on site. Result: catering around the clock on less than one square meter.

Waiting Rooms & Practices

A practice places a tabletop unit at reception. Patients grab water or a snack while they wait, by card or Apple Pay. The device needs no floor space of its own and sits on the counter. The touchscreen shows allergens and prices, and staff do not have to take payment.

Hotels: Floors & Lobby

A city hotel mounts wall-hung mini machines on the floors and adds a compact freestanding unit to the lobby. Guests buy drinks, snacks and travel items around the clock, even when reception is thinly staffed. The custom wrap picks up the hotel design, so the machine does not look like a foreign metal box.

Mini Vending Machine: Size, Technology and Cost

A mini vending machine brings smart vending technology onto a minimal footprint. The difference from the large device lies only in capacity and footprint, not in the equipment: touchscreen, cashless payment and telemetry are standard here too. You choose between a slim freestanding machine from around 70 cm wide, a tabletop unit for the counter, and a wall-mounted version with no floor contact. It is stocked to suit the location, from snacks and drinks to cosmetic samples or office supplies. Prices range from 2.000 to 5.000 euros net, with payback at busy locations of 6 to 12 months. If you want to stay flexible, you rent from a one-day term or lease from 99 euros per month. You will find more on choosing a model in the guide Cost of a Vending Machine.

Which Design Fits Your Space?

For very tight locations the wall mount is the best choice, because it takes up no floor space and stays visible at eye level. A tabletop unit fits at reception or the counter, where there is already a surface. The slim freestanding machine is worth it when you need more capacity but only have a niche free. All three forms share the same software and payment technology, so you decide by space, not by function.

Financing Your Mini Machine

You have three options: purchase (2.000 to 5.000 euros), rental from a one-day term or leasing from 99 euros per month. With leasing, the machine ideally finances itself from ongoing income, and the installments are tax-deductible as operating expenses. With rental, maintenance is often included, which makes it easier to start or run a test phase at a new location. The guide Rent or Buy shows which model works out for you.

Common Questions on the Mini Vending Machine

How small is a mini vending machine?

The slim freestanding machine starts at around 70 cm wide and needs under half a square meter of floor space. Even more compact are tabletop units that stand on a counter or reception desk, and wall-mounted versions that take up no floor space at all. That lets a mini machine fit into small offices, waiting rooms or hotel floors where a full-size machine finds no room. The key difference from simple small devices: compact does not mean stripped down at vyndo. Touchscreen, cashless payment and telemetry are on board even in the small model, so you lose no function, only capacity. For most locations with moderate footfall, that is exactly enough. If demand grows, you add a second device later or move up to a larger model.

Does a small machine still have card payment?

Yes. Cashless payment is standard on every vyndo machine, even the smallest model. Customers pay contactless by debit card, credit card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. Optionally you add coin and note payment, for example at locations where cash is still common. The payment technology meets the TSE requirement under KassenSichV, so accounting stays clean and you can show a complete record in a till audit. At small locations without staff, card payment matters especially, because it lowers the barrier for impulse buys and you do not have to run a till or make change. Sales flow automatically into the telemetry, so you can always see what the machine brings in without settling up on site.

What does a mini vending machine cost?

Compact models range from 2.000 to 5.000 euros net, depending on design, cooling and equipment. A tabletop unit without cooling is at the lower end, a chilled freestanding machine with a large touchscreen at the upper. Besides buying, you can rent from a one-day term or lease from 99 euros per month. With leasing the installments are tax-deductible as operating expenses, and with rental maintenance is often included. Payback depends on the location and runs at 6 to 12 months at busy spots. Because the compact machine ties up little space, the entry barrier is low. You will find a clear overview of all price classes in the guide Cost of a Vending Machine.

Can I hang a mini machine on the wall?

Yes. The wall-mounted version is made exactly for locations with no free floor space, for example on hotel floors or in narrow hallways. The machine hangs at eye level, stays clearly visible and still delivers the full smart feature set: touchscreen, cashless payment and telemetry. We handle the mounting ready to operate; you only need a wall with enough load capacity and a power socket nearby. So you sell even where no machine was possible before, without blocking walkways or narrowing escape routes. In hotels especially, each floor can be supplied on its own instead of sending guests to the lobby. The full wrap picks up your design, so the machine fits the wall.

Which products fit into a small machine?

You decide by location. Via spirals you sell snacks, bars and drink cans, via lockers also more delicate or larger goods. Popular choices are cosmetic sample sizes in hotels, healthy snacks in coworking, drinks in the waiting room or office supplies in the small office. Because the compartments are configurable, you adjust the range to demand at any time without needing new hardware. Cooling can be set per zone, so chilled and unchilled goods run side by side. For higher footfall or more variety a larger device is worth it, for example a combi machine for snacks and drinks. At the compact location, though, the mini machine plays exactly to the strength it was built for: the essentials within reach, without wasting space.

Does the mini machine need its own power connection?

For chilled models and the payment technology a power connection is essential; a normal socket nearby is enough. Unchilled tabletop units for dry goods also need power for the touchscreen and payment system, but use far less. The power consumption of modern devices runs at around 1 to 3 kWh a day depending on cooling, so in the range of a household fridge. We deliver the machine ready to operate and connect it on site, so you do not have to deal with the technology. You do not necessarily need a network connection: the telemetry transmits over mobile network, so the machine reports stock levels and sales even at locations without Wi-Fi. All you need is a safe, dry spot with a reachable socket.

Is a mini machine worth it at low footfall?

Often yes, because a small machine ties up little space and costs less to buy than a large device. At locations with moderate footfall, for example a coworking with 20 seats or a practice, the compact capacity is enough and the machine still runs profitably. The telemetry helps you avoid unnecessary trips, because you only drive out to refill when a compartment is really empty. That keeps operating costs low, even when only a few purchases add up per day. The deciding factor is the margin per sale, which runs at around 50 percent after cost of goods. Even a handful of purchases a day adds up over the month. How to judge the right location, you can read in the guide Finding a Location.
